DOROBANTU FILM & TELEVISION \u2013 VIDEO ON DEMAND (hereinafter \u201cD\u2013VOD\u201d) is a Film Streaming Platform with Club Status, requiring Verified Membership and offering Club Members the possibility to Purchase and Rent Films for Online Streaming as Video On Demand (VOD).
<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

FILM PURCHASE, STREAMING, AND VIEWING<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

– You must be at least 18 years old in order to apply for a Club Membership and to potentially be accepted as a Member of D\u2013VOD and to consequently purchase, rent, stream, and view any Film, Trailer, Poster or Other Material which is available and \/ or on offer for sale or rental within D\u2013VOD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Important Technical Note:<\/em> All Films which are available for purchase and rental on D\u2013VOD are DRM-protected, and their streaming may be technically prevented<\/em> or performed at a lower resolution<\/em> in device \/ operating system \/ browser environments which do not meet D\u2013VOD’s required security level. It is the sole responsibility of each D\u2013VOD Member to stream purchased and rented films in a technically secure environment which allows the respective streaming.

With so many device \/ operating system \/ browser options being available all around the world, it is currently not possible for us (or anyone else) to present any kind of accurate lists of devices \/ operating systems \/ browsers where the films which are available on our platform can be successfully streamed.

But we are very happy to present our Club Members with the following general advice and information:

For Android \/ Windows, please make sure that the device which you intend to use for the film streaming supports Widevine L1 DRM.

For Apple, please make sure that the device which you intend to use for the film streaming supports FairPlay DRM.

In case of Desktop use, please be aware of the fact that the number of browsers which support Widevine L1 DRM and FairPlay DRM is quite limited.

When DRM is not supported, either <\/em>the film will simply not start playing on the respective device or<\/em> the following message will be displayed on screen: \u201cThis video cannot be played on your device because it doesn\u2019t meet the content protection requirements.\u201d

In some cases, when Widevine L1 DRM is not supported, the film may still be played \u2013 but in a lower L3 SD resolution (not in HD).

In order to find out whether your device supports Widevine L1 DRM \/ FairPlay DRM, you may wish to consult your respective device provider and \/ or the device documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– D\u2013VOD is an English language club. All Films which are available for purchase and rental on D\u2013VOD are spoken in English or have English subtitles. (Translations into other languages are not available.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– All Film Prices include VAT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Payment by Credit Card or Debit Card gives you immediate access to the Film which you are buying or renting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Payment through Bank Transfer gives you access to the Film which you are buying or renting within approximately five to eight banking days (depending on your bank), as soon as your payment reaches our bank account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Other Payment Methods, if offered in your geographic area, may have different frames of time within which they give you access to the Film which you are buying or renting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Buying a Film gives you permanent and unlimited streaming access to the respective Film for as long as D\u2013VOD exists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Renting a Film gives you time-limited streaming access to the respective Film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– After ending its activity (in case that D\u2013VOD at any time ends its activity), D\u2013VOD will have no obligations whatsoever to any Club Members \u2013<\/strong> related to the respective Club Members\u2019 D\u2013VOD Account and to any Film(s) which the Club Members may have purchased or rented for streaming within their D\u2013VOD Account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instant Product<\/strong> \u2013 No Refund<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please observe that an Online Film is an Instant Product, which you consume while watching it. Consequently, you cannot<\/em> receive a refund after buying or renting the Film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Copyright Security Warning
(With Privacy-Related Implications, here below displayed in red colour)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Club Member and Film Consumer, you are not<\/em> allowed to copy any Film which you are buying or renting within your D\u2013VOD Account, and you are not<\/em> allowed to share, spread, forward, transfer, or publish the Film in any way and by any means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Club Member and Film Consumer, you are not<\/em> either allowed to copy any Trailer which you are watching within your D\u2013VOD Account, and you are not<\/em> allowed to share, spread, forward, transfer, or publish the Trailer in any way and by any means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a Club Member, you are not either allowed to share your D\u2013VOD Account with a third party or to facilitate a third party’s access to your D\u2013VOD Account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even after buying or renting a Film, the respective Film and the Content of the respective Film remain entirely the exclusive intellectual property of the Film’s Legal Rights Owner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please be aware of the fact that each single Film File includes a unique, Invisible Watermark (Forensic Watermark) which makes that specific Film File\u2019s content identifiable and trackable if the Film File is illegally copied and \/ or shared and \/ or spread in any form and by any means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kindly also observe that during the playback of a Film which you have bought or rented, and also during the playback of a Trailer which you are watching, a dynamic Visible Watermark containing Your\u00a0Full Name and Your E-Mail Address will be permanently displayed on the Film Player Screen and on the Trailer Player Screen respectively.

As long as you watch the respective Film or Trailer within the privacy of your own D\u2013VOD Account, you have absolutely no reasons for concerns regarding the privacy and the confidentiality of your Full Name and your E-Mail Address.

However, please be aware of the fact that if you illegally copy the Film (partly or entirely) or the Trailer (partly or entirely) \u2013 by screen recording, screen filming, or any other technical means or methods \u2013 and then you illegally share with a third party the Film or the Trailer which you have illegally copied, or you illegally publish, spread, or in any way make the illegally copied Film or Trailer available on the Internet or on any kind of physical support (such as DVD, memory stick, and so on), you will concomitantly also share and \/ or spread Your Full Name and Your E-Mail Address as they are displayed on the Film Player Screen and on the Trailer Player Screen, and, in this way, you yourself will make Your Full Name and Your E-Mail Address public and accessible to a third party or to everyone (which means that you yourself will break or give up the privacy and the confidentiality of your Full Name and your E-Mail Address), and, consequently, you and only you alone will be entirely responsible for Your Full Name and Your E-Mail Address becoming public and accessible to a third party or to everyone (something for which D\u2013VOD will never<\/em> be responsible and will never<\/em> be held responsible \u2013 legally, morally, or in any other way \u2013 under any circumstances whatsoever).

Furthermore, by making Your Full Name and Your E-Mail Address public and accessible to a third party or to everyone in the above-described manner, you are actually providing concrete evidence that you have been breaking the Copyright Law by illegally copying, sharing, spreading the Film or the Trailer. Based on that concrete evidence, Legal Action will be taken against you<\/em> (please see the Legal Warning Note<\/em> and the Personal Responsibility Note<\/em> below).

Legal<\/strong> Warning Note:<\/strong> In case of any illegal use of the Film and of the Film Content, and in case of any illegal use of the Trailer and of the Trailer Content, legal action will be immediately taken against the physical \/ juridical person or persons responsible for the related Copyright Infringement \u2013 the Film’s Legal Rights Owner and the Trailer’s Legal Rights Owner in such case being legally entitled to demand and to obtain full financial compensation covering all the damages and the losses which the Film’s Legal Rights Owner and the Trailer’s Legal Rights Owner suffer as a consequence of the respective Copyright Infringement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Personal Responsibility Note: <\/strong>Within the above-presented Copyright Security and Legal Context, it is your full responsibility to keep your Login Information absolutely Private and Confidential, and to make sure that nobody else but you has Login Access to your D\u2013VOD Account. If you suspect that a third party has gained unauthorized access to your D\u2013VOD Account, you have the obligation to immediately inform the D\u2013VOD Administrator about that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No Liability<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u2013VOD is not<\/em> responsible and shall not<\/em> be held responsible in any legal or moral way for any damages, losses, and \/ or inconveniences possibly suffered by a Club Member as a result or consequence of any technical disorders and \/ or malfunctions, or as a result or consequence of security breaches of any website, internet platform, technical service, administrative system (or anything similar) involved in the functionality of D\u2013VOD, or as a result or consequence of any other internal or external factors or causes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions and of Privacy Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

By applying to become a Member of D\u2013VOD and by effectively becoming a Member of D\u2013VOD (if your Membership Application is approved), you automatically and entirely accept D\u2013VOD\u2019s Terms and Conditions<\/a><\/strong><\/em> and Privacy Policy<\/a><\/strong><\/em> and you entirely and unconditionally agree to D\u2013VOD\u2019s Terms and Conditions<\/a><\/strong><\/em> and Privacy Policy<\/a><\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u2013VOD is owned and run by the Swedish company Dorobantu Film & Television.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The provisions in this document referring to D\u2013VOD are equally covering Dorobantu Film & Television.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
