A TIME REVERSED

In strong contrast to the times when Paul Gauguin was leaving Europe for the Tahitian Paradise, where he was creating some of his most famous paintings, a young Asian actress impersonating one of Gauguin’s nude models on a nowadays Danish theatre stage is seriously preoccupied by the possibility of obtaining a permanent European Union residence.

SUSPENDED

A drama film depicting the serious consequences of medical staff shortage and poor professional qualification in hospitals, from the perspective of a totally immobile and non-communicative female patient entirely dependent on the vital help and assistance of two young female nurses who, in their turn, are clearly overwhelmed by the technical complexity of their work tasks – while they are changing the patient’s clothes and bedclothes and have her mechanically stuck in a suspended body position, and then, unable to unlock the suspending apparatus, are even administering her the prescribed injection in the very uncomfortable suspended position, before simply abandoning her to her fate until some technical support will arrive. 

ACTA MEDICA – ANDRO SCARE

Three men working in a marginal small office within the vast building complex of a major company are abruptly confronted with the profoundly intrusive medical visit of a female andrologist, in a hallucinatory kind of advanced cinematographic narrative which, seen from their perspective, could be both a nightmare-like reality and a highly realistic nightmare – depicted in a totally revealing filmic language, possibly containing essential visual details which, in their turn (and all together), may constitute the fascinating logical key to this very unusual metaphoric story about absolute corporate power over employees.

ACTA MEDICA – ETHICS QUEST

A both revealing and relevant film thoroughly investigating medical ethical norms from the perspective of protecting the intimacy and identity of patients who, in the medical investigation and medical treatment process, also become subjects to individual didactic medical observation – through educational and instructional videos displaying their bodies for theoretical and practical study and analysis (pedagogically put at the disposal of large categories of medical students and medical staff in need of acquiring knowledge and / or improving their professional skills).
